[Short Paper] Experimental Evaluation on the Three-Dimensional Spatial Interpolation with Drone-Based Radio Measurements

Abstract(in English) Future mobile networks can be augmented into aerial communication services such as drone-based live video streaming and remote control; however, the three-dimensional radio propagation model is still challenging despite its importance for drone services. In this paper, we report the radio measurement campaign using a drone and show there exists spatial correlation in three-dimensional radio propagation. Furthermore, we demonstrate that ordinary Kriging achieves high estimation accuracy in three-dimensional radio propagation.
