Abstract(in English) | 2D LiDAR provides point cloud data containing distance and angle information. However, a point cloud is a set of non-uniform data samples and is difficult to handle during analysis. In this study, assuming that the indoor environment includes many flat surfaces such as walls and furniture, we derive an analytical solution that represents the distance at an arbitrary angle by linearly approximating the point cloud acquired with 2D LiDAR. Furthermore, we attempt to compress the point cloud data by applying this method. |
