| Abstract(in English) | This paper formulates a problem of building a firewall to stop spreading a malicious botnet using a given numberof white-hat bots and proposes a solution. The baseline “surrounding tactic” builds a firewall by placing white-hat bots nextto each other to enclose the malicious botnet. In contrast, the proposed method builds a firewall by placing white-hat bots atbottlenecks in the network. The experimental results show that this method builds an effective firewall using fewer white-hatbots than the “surrounding tactic” and the effect depends on the network density. |
