Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Mizusawa VLBI Observatory of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan are promoting the development of broadband receivers in the ultra-high frequency (UHF) band (0.7~2.1 GHz). However, continuous broadband radio observations in the UHF band are not possible due to the presence of radio frequency interferences (RFI). We have developed a superconducting quad-band bandpass filter (QB-BPF) at 0.7, 1.4, 1.6, and 2.1 GHz for wideband receivers. That consists of two dual-band bandpass filters. We have devised an interdigital feeding structure with a high degree of freedom in designing external quality factor. The measured and simulated results of the QB-BPF are in good agreement. We have successfully developed a QB-BPF that overcomes the problem of extensive RFI.
