Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we consider epidemic communication by drones. In our previous research, we considered setting virtual roads in the air so that drones can communicate with each other more frequently, and evaluated the performance of epidemic communication when drones move along these virtual roads by computer simulation and theoretical analysis. In this report, we consider a method in which drones rendezvous at a certain location in a service area as another method to make drones communicate more frequently other than a virtual road. We theoretically analyze the performance of epidemic communication in such a rendezvous method. We also compare the performance of this method with the method using virtual roads, and discuss whether the virtual road or the rendezvous method is better.
