[Invited Talk] Hierarchical recurrence plot analysis for music waveform and MIDI as marked point process

Abstract(in English) A method for using recurrence plots (RPs) for music analysis is introduced. When analyzing music waveform data, one song's data is too long to fit on a single RP. First, I introduce hierarchical RPs (RPofRPs) that we have proposed to solve this problem. Next, I explain how to treat discrete values such as music data recorded by MIDI, a standard format for recording performance information between electronic instruments, as point processes in order to use them in RP.
