Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Network recovery is a key issue for telecommunication service after daily failures and wide-area disasters. Several approaches have been proposed to optimize routing paths and recovery orders. In order to simulate these methods proactively before a failure occurs, it is necessary to calculate numerous combinations of failure locations, routing paths, recovery orders, and network performance. In this paper, we propose a formulation and an optimization method for the simulation of stationary occurrence of failures and recovery process using queuing theory and flow network. The proposed method optimizes the allocation of resources (workers or vehicles) to visit nodes and the allocation probabilities to each node to minimize the impact of failures on network service. We conduct experiments using real network topology and show the proposed method can outperform the baseline methods and reduce the service impact. |
