Abstract(in English) The steep traffic growth encourages the development of next-generation ultra-large-capacity optical paths and fiber-granular routing that enables the introduction of large-port-count optical switches for express routing. We have already verified the routing performances of promising fiber-granular routing and conventional path-granular routing on several small-scale topologies and under small traffic volumes. In this paper, we propose an efficient algorithm that optimizes fiber arrangements and evaluate the routing performances of fiber-granular routing networks in several topologies and under large traffic volumes.
