Abstract(in English) There are few reported cases of methods for estimating human exposure to millimeter-wave band in the installation environment of 5G wireless communication systems. In this study, a method for estimating human exposure to millimeter-wave from the base station is investigated for a local 5G system installed at Tokyo Metropolitan University. In this paper, we attempted to develop a method that combines the ray tracing method, which has several examples of analysis of electromagnetic waves emitted from 5G base stations, and the FDTD method, which has many examples of analysis in the vicinity of the human body.As a preliminary study, distributions of power density induced in the human body in a hall where a millimeter wave band base station is installed was obtained by this coupled analysis.
