Analysis of various periodic orbits in permutation binary neural networks

Abstract(in English) This paper studis a permutation binary neural network characterized by local binary connection, global permutation connection, and the signum activation function. The network is a simple recurrent-type neural network and generates various binary periodic orbits depending on the parameters. In order to analysis the periodic orbits, we introduce two feature quantities that characterize complexity and stability of the periodic orbits. Using two quantities, we analysis typical exampls of 7-dimensional networks and clarifies existence of globally stable periodic orbits. Presenting a simple FPGA based hardware, typical periodic orbits are confirmed experimentally.
