Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Internet of things (IoT) terminals have spread rapidly in recent years, and multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmission has attracted attention in order to accommodate their communication. Furthermore, cybercrimes are increasing year by year, and it is important to enhance the confidentiality of wireless communications. To achieve both demands, we have proposed a multi-user chaos MIMO transmission scheme (MU-C-MIMO) that incorporates chaos modulation, which is a technique for encryption at the physical layer, into multi-user MIMO transmission. The uplink MU-C-MIMO transmission uses Gaussian belief propagation (GaBP) as a decoding method, but the configuration of GaBP in the conventional receiver is not optimized for chaos modulation, resulting in the performance degradation. In this paper, we propose a new decoding method that improves the signal processing at the receiver side of MU-C-MIMO receiver suitable for chaos modulation. The proposed method improves the error floor region of bit error rate characteristics from $10^{-2}$ to $10^{-5}$ in high $E_b$/$N_0$ region compared to the conventional method. |
