Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In terms of Ueda’s theory of chaos, i.e., the concept of randomly transitional oscillations, we discuss the implications of our previous results for the estimation of the Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy rate from the string entropy rate of the symbolic dynamics of chaos, the prediction of chaotic attractors using noisy echo state networks, and a chaos-based stream cipher with secret-key exchange on the basis of the synchronization between randomized chaotic oscillators.
