[Invited Lecture] Antenna analysis using FDTD method

Abstract(in English) Electromagnetic field analysis is used in a wide range of applications, from the optical region to the very low-frequency region. There are various methods for electromagnetic field analysis, including the FDTD method, the method of moments, and the finite element method. The FDTD method is widely used because of its simple algorithm and the relative ease with which complex models can be analyzed. On the other hand, antennas that radiate and receive electromagnetic waves are important components that play the role of an interface for radio waves. In this paper, we report on the analysis of antennas using the FDTD method, from the basics to the latest techniques.
