Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study is to construct a model for the process of generating animacy perception toward a robot during an interaction. Based on previous studies, response latency plays an important role for the occurrence of animacy perception. To verify our hypothesis for appropriate latency for animacy perception, we analyzed the relationship between animacy perception and the duration of the response time. The results showed that existence of the particular duration, especially 0 seconds response, rather than the particular series of duration, is involved in the generation of animacy perception.
