Abstract(in English) | In the case of applying zoning countermeasures against the threat of information leakage using electromagnetic (EM) waves emitted from video device units (VDUs), it is necessary to identify the zone of information leakage. We can estimate the area of information leakage by modeling the leakage source, transmission characteristics, and background noise; however, the modeling of the leakage source has not been studied sufficiently. In this study, we propose generating the model of leakage source by estimating the intensity and timing of leaked EM waves by focusing on the signal transmission, including video information of the target device. To verify the leakage source model, under a test evaluation environment, we confirmed that the leakage source model generated by the proposed method is in good agreement with the measured leakage signal. Moreover, we confirmed that the correlation coefficient between the leaked signal observed outside the equipment and the proposed leakage source model is a high correlation coefficient compared to the displayed image. |
