Abstract(in English) Randomness evaluation of true random number generators (TRNGs) based on ring oscillators (ROs) requires an analysis of output sequences from TRNGs. However, direct evaluation of the sequences is difficult because the sequences are an intermediate value when the TRNGs are implemented in a device. This paper proposes a non-invasive method to estimate randomness degradation using radiated electromagnetic waves of TRNGs. Specifically, an amplitude probability distribution (APD) used for interference effects evaluation of electromagnetic interference against ERO-TRNG is measured. In addition, it is verified that the features extracted from APD graphs depend on entropy.
