| Abstract(in English) | Dispersion management has been a well-known technique for mitigating the inter-channel nonlinear interactions which limit the transmission capacity of wavelength-division-multiplexed (WDM) optical fiber transmission systems. On the other hand, optical eigenvalue communication in which invariant optical eigenvalue is used as information carrier is a promising technology to overcome nonlinear Shannon limit. But optical eigenvalues are affected by inter-channel interactions as cross phase modulation (XPM) and four wave mixing (FWM) in WDM systems. In this paper, we investigate the eigenvalue of dispersion managed (DM) soliton, which is a periodically stationary pulse propagating in a periodically DM transmission line. We focus only on the eigenvalue in anomalous dispersion fiber section because the inverse scattering transform (IST) can be applied only for the nonlinear Schroedinger equation (NLSE) having a constant dispersion coefficient. |
