Abstract(in English) The author's group research in underwater communication using radio wave for communication of IoT devices. A transmission characteristics of dipole antennas submerged in salt water were obtained by actual measurements and electromagnetic field simulations. Using the characteristic values obtained, the author proposed a method for estimating transmission speed when wavelet-OFDM transceiver are connected to the antennas. In addition transmission characteristics were also examined when the carrier frequency was changed to a lower frequency band. As a result, a communication speed of 4 Mbps was achieved at a distance of 0.8 m. This communication speed was also predicted by the proposed estimation method.
