Abstract(in English) A simple equivalent electromagnetic field model was developed to clarify the electromagnetic wave absorption and shielding mechanisms of ultralight-weight materials made of carbon nanotubes. The electromagnetic field model was a flat-plate shape with uniform conductivity and permittivity. For the conductivity, measured value by the 4-terminal method was used. The relative permittivity value was estimated by fitting electromagnetic field simulation results to the experimental results of the electromagnetic wave absorption using square waveguides. The electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of the material were calculated and compared with the measured values. In result, the estimated values were similar to the measured values below 18 GHz. Therefore, it is demonstrated that the electromagnetic wave absorption and shielding mechanisms could be evaluated by using a flat-plate electromagnetic field model.
