Abstract(in English) | In cell-free massive MIMO systems, a massive number of distributed antennas cooperate with each other and communicate with users. The systems attempt to improve user performance especially for “cell-edge” users in conventional cellular systems and meet the demand of communication quality for Beyond 5G scenarios. On the deployment and operation of cell-free massive MIMO systems, there exist various challenges caused by limitation of environments and equipment. In this lecture, we will present our research activities of channel propagation measurement and simulations to solve the challenges. Especially, we will mainly introduce performance analyses in terms of antenna distribution to reduce the number of antenna locations, and an antenna control algorithm to improve energy efficiency and realize green communications. |
