Abstract(in English) By narrowing the frequency spacing of each subcarrier, spectrally-efficient frequency division multiplexing (SEFDM) can transmit the same amount of data in a narrower bandwidth than orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). However, inter-carrier interference occurs. In this report, we evaluate the performance of the parallel interference cancellation detection based on the expectation propagation (EP) with Haar precoding for large SEFDM systems which have many subcarriers. It is shown that the large SEFDM system can achieve frequency diversity effect in the frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channel, and that the system can demodulate well even when the required bandwidth is reduced to 62.5%.
