Abstract(in English) OFDM/PM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing/Phase Modulation), an alternative modulation approach to OFDM, is able to achieve multicarrier modulation and minimize peak-to-average power ratio utilizing phase modulation. Since phase modulated signal maintains a constant envelope, the nonlinear distortion produced by the power amplifier employed in satellite communications can be prevented. In this study, we propose introducing a CMA (Constant Modulus Algorithm) based adaptive filtering for OFDM/PM receiver to improve the BER (Bit Error Rate) performance. We evaluate the BER performances of OFDM/PM systems with adaptive filtering for different modulation indexes of PM, oversampling rates, and modulation schemes.
