Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Human pose transfer is the task that transforms a person image from the source pose to a given target pose, and is useful as a data augmentation method for person re-identification. However, the conventional pose transformer has a problem that the color of occlusion, such as backpacks, in the source image is transferred to the color of the skin or clothes in a generated image. In this work, we propose a method to suppress the color transfer caused by occlusion in the source image through inpainting. From the evaluation of the perceptual similarity between the generated images and the real images, we confirmed that the proposed method can suppress the color transfer and improve the quality of the generated images.
