A server type method for generating visual effects by using a time window in a virtual reality live experience system using brain waves

Abstract(in English) In this study, we proposed and developed a method of generating visual effects for a server type virtual reality live experience system that adapts to individual differences in rising timing of the β/α ratio of each user. In the proposed system and method, a time window of the past one second is set for each user's β/α ratio, the maximum values of the β/α ratio within the time window of all users are averaged, and visual effects are generated by thresholding the average. We implemented the proposed system, conducted experiments, and showed that number of generating effects increased and subjective evaluation tended to increase.
