A shopping support system considering preferences for multiple information sources

Abstract(in English) When purchasing products online, it is desirable to collect information not only from the site of purchase, but also from various information sources. Gathering information from diverse sources can help combat the negative impact of inadequate information, such as fake reviews. Here, it is necessary to take into consideration that the reliable information source differs for each user. In this research, we weighted the user’s preferences regarding what kind of information sources they trust and to what extent, using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Furthermore, we prototyped a system that ranks multiple products by considering the weight of information sources. This paper describes the improvement and evaluation of this system.
