Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, due in part to the Corona Disaster, there has been an increase in the number of opportunities to watch live-streamed events from their homes, increasing the need for entertainment that is only possible online. We have been studying the possibility of delivering remote audience video to live events from the comfort of their homes. In this study, we propose a method to generate synchronized video images by absorbing delays caused by various factors from the camera video of multiple remote viewers watching a live-streamed event. In an evaluation experiment to estimate the delay time from pairs of videos of remote viewers waving penlights, the proposed method of delay estimation using feature extraction focused on the phase and time series search was able to identify the delay time with high accuracy. We showed that our method has the potential to generate synchronized video images of multiple remote audiences.
