Abstract(in English) Esophageal cancer is often asymptomatic at early stage.It progresses rapidly and can invade surrounding tissues.The esophagus is surrounded by vital organs.Treatment becomes difficult if these organs invaded by esophageal cancer.Therefore, early diagnosis of esophageal cancer is necessary. In this study, we constructed a system for extracting tumor regions from NBI endoscopic images obtained by Narrow Band Imaging (NBI), and detected tumor regions with an accuracy of 83.5%.
