Abstract(in English) | We are researching a wideband dual-input one-output GaN amplifier for base stations that covers 4G / 5G frequencies. It operates as a Doherty amplifier or out-phasing amplifier for each frequency band using digital control, and aims to cover the 4 GHz width from 800 MHz to 4.8 GHz while maintaining high efficiency. We are constructing a measurement system using two vector transceivers with an instantaneous bandwidth of 1 GHz up to a frequency of 6 GHz for experimental evaluation of a dual-input amplifier. In this report, we report the evaluation results of inputting two wideband 5G signals with a width of 100MHz to 500MHz and performing relative phase control for evaluation of frequency characteristics, and digital distortion compensation. |
