Abstract(in English) | We clarified the requirements necessary for remote control and investigated a remote control system that satisfies the requirements. In this investigation, it was confirmed that the controllability of remote control can be improved by reducing the latency and improving the robustness of the system. In this paper, after introducing the low-latency FDN, we propose a real-time operation method in which the network controller and server controller cooperate together. Our method improve the latency by switch over both network and serve immediately, in case the latency does not meet the performance requirements due to degradation. In addition, we manufactured a prototype of a crane arm, and evaluated how latency affects controllability of remote control. As a result, it was confirmed that it is necessary to aim for 100 ms latency and 100 ms real-time control. |
