Stochastic Geometry-based Performance Analysis of UAV-to-UAV Communications under Channel Congestion

Abstract(in English) The systems using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have advanced smart city. Such systems requires UAV-to-UAV communications (U2U). However, as the number of UAVs is more, U2U experiences more severe channel congestion. To reveal the characteristics of channel congestion in U2U, this paper analyzes the packet reception ratio (PRR) in U2U communications. The analysis showed that an UAV at the altitude near ground experienced the lowest PRR.
