Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A Wireless Powered Communication Network (WPCN) is a network that integrates Wireless Energy Transfer(WET) and Wireless Information Transfer (WIT). In WPCN, stations(STAs) transmit information using the power supplied by Hybrid Access Point (HAP). In order to improve the performance of WPCN, appropriate scheduling of WET and WIT is required in the network. On the other hand, the difference in the amount of power consumption and power supplied become the significant problem due to the difference in the distance between the HAP and each STA (Double-Near-Far). This causes throughput unfairness in the entire network. We have proposed Harvest-then-Access scheduling for WPCNs and demonstrated its effectiveness based on analytical model. However, the performance of the scheme has not been clarified considering the Double-Near-Far. In this study, we present a performance analysis of the Harvest-then-Access scheduling considering the Double-Near-Far in WPCN.
