Abstract(in English) | In the rust removal using high-power laser, it is desirable to extend the focusing the focusing range to suppress the influence of fine movement of the hand when holding the laser emitting head, Further, from the viewpoint of safety, to keep the light intensity density as low as possible outside the focusing range, it is desirable that light diffusion occurs rapidly outside the range. In order to realize such a laser beam, We created a diffractive optical element (DOE) based on the phase distribution on the optical axis of the Bessel beam. Specifically, first, the points are arranged at equal intervals within a desired focusing range on the optical axis. Next, the electric field distribution on a DOE that generates a spherical wave in which the light phase at each of the points is the same as the phase of the Bessel beam is calculated for each point. Then, the sum of all the electric field distributions is calculated. Finally, the DOE that generates the phase distribution of the electric field distribution is produced. This DOE design method is characterized in that the beam diameter design and the beam diameter holding length design cab be made independently, The DOE fabricated by the design method maintains a peak power density of 30% or more of the maximum density and a beam diameter of about 130μm between 0.1m and 1m. |
