Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In content that allows viewers to enjoy narrative experiences, such as movies, there are built-in devices that promote the viewer's understanding of the story by adding impact to the sound and images. These are thought to simultaneously induce the illusion of causal attribution of emotional cognition, but their causal relationship is not clear. In this study, we compared cases in which the sympathetic nervous system was stimulated by staging and cases in which the sympathetic nervous system was not stimulated by staging, and examined whether differences occurred in the experiencer's understanding of the story.
