Trajectory Detection Method using Blind-RL for GEO Space Debris Detection

Abstract(in English) We have proposed Trajectory Segment Integration Method for GEO space debris detection by ground based optical observations. This method focuses on improving the S / N performance for debris search with wide FOV. However, it is important to improve the resolution in order to observe the splitting debris due to collisions and explosions of geostationary satellites. In this paper, the line segment compression processing of LEM in Trajectory Segment Integration Method is improved from the conventional cross-correlation processing (pulse compression processing) to the "IF method" based on the reverse convolution by multiplying in the frequency axis. Furthermore, for the purpose of separating and detecting debris with different target characteristics (inclination of trajectory segments, etc.), we propose recursive BRL method which employed Relax subtract iteration of a hybrid configuration of the IF method and a blind Richardson Lucy method. By computer simulation, it is confirmed that each method can obtain higher resolution than the conventional method focusing on S / N improvement. Furthermore, it is shown the IF method result that apply to observation images.
