Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The development of social networking services has made it much easier to exchange and disseminate information. Unfortunately, a social problem has arisen in that information dissemination is being closed to particular communities due to so-called filter bubbles and echo-chamber effects. It is important to comprehend the characteristics of online user dynamics to solve this problem. The oscillation model, which is a model based on the locality and causality of user interactions, can describe user dynamics in online social networks. This paper focuses on two different solutions derived from the fundamental equation for online user dynamics in a framework of the oscillation model. By examining under what network structure conditions two different solutions appear, this paper shows that we can theoretically explain the fragmentation of user dynamics in online communities.
