Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Laser patterning using a CO2 laser was examined as a simple patterning technique for ITO electrodes, and an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) devices were fabricated. OLED devices with laser-patterned showed a surface roughness and a strong emission at ITO edge. PEDOT:PSS layer as the hole injection layer was spin-coated on laser-patterned ITO to reduce the surface roughness. As a result, the OLED with laser-patterned ITO showed uniformity emission and the equivalent properties similar to typical devices.
