Abstract(in English) | This study analyzed the narratives of an in-service teacher, who conducted research on elementary school foreign language classes during a teaching practicum at the Graduate School of Education (Professional Degree Program), and her university supervisor using VEO, a classroom analysis tool, as a mediating tool. As a result of exchanging comments and reflection, it was confirmed that the in-service teacher’s perspectives on the class gradually changed and that they were able to capture the trial-and-error process of the activity dynamically. These results revealed that the VEO-based lesson study enables the in-service teacher and her university supervisor to focus on issues in the lessons and share their findings, which can lead to the improvement of teaching skills even online. |
