Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Internet of Things (IoT) services are currently being deployed in a variety of fields. As a result, the number of IoT devices and the amount of traffic are increasing. However, conventional networks are not sufficiently adapted to these IoT services. Therefore, it is reasonable to apply Pub/Sub type communication, which is communication for IoT, to IoT services. However, although they provide simple communication sequences, they do not use Domain Name System (DNS) servers, and the base network for Pub/Sub type communication will be attacked by unregulated traffic. In this report, we use MQTT as an example of communication for IoT, propose a Token Bucket Filter (TBF) for MQTT to regulate incoming traffic as an access control function, and report a prototype implementation and its evaluation on MQTT Publisher.
