Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Orthonormalization like singular value decomposition and QR decomposition is closely related to solution representation in the linear system and has wide applications. This study proposes a trapezoidal block Householder reflector to efficiently represent a unitary matrix in orthonormalization. The proposed method can save storage overheads compared to the conventional compact WY representation and the theoretical analysis proves similar properties to the orthogonal projection and pseudo-inverse matrix. As one of the applications, numerical experiments show that the proposed method can improve the computational complexity of spectral precoding without performance degradation of sidelobe suppression and error rate.
