[Invited Talk] Spectral Graph Theory and Its Application

Abstract(in English) The spectral graph theory provides an algebraical approach to investigating the characteristics of networks using the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a matrix (e.g., normalized Laplacian matrix) that represents the structure of the network. This theory is widely used to analyze networks in many studies. In this talk, we first give an overview of the entire research area related to the spectral graph theory. Then, as applications of the network analysis using the spectral graph theory, we introduce the research on anomaly detection of networks and network quantification.
