Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we conducted a weight-loss experiment with a four-week treatment period and a four-week follow-up period for seventy participants, and analyzed how behavioral patterns in the treatment period are related to weight maintenance in the follow-up period. Primary results indicated that participants tended to gain weight in the follow-up period if they lose a large amount of weight in the final phase, change weight unstably, lose weight on weekdays but gain weight on weekend, or measure their weight irregularly in the treatment period. We discussed these results for future applications to assist weight management.
