Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we proposed a simulation of In-vehicle millimeter wave MIMO radar, and we discus ego-vehicle speed estimation with the millimeter wave MIMO radar when the vehicle is turning. It is aimed ego-vehicle motion estimation and all-weather localization. An ego-vehicle speed estimation method uses vehicle speed (VS) spectrum applied the characteristic of 2D power spectrum distribution (angle and velocity) with ego-vehicle speed. However, there are some estimation errors caused by false peaks in VS spectrum when the vehicle is turning. Therefore, we discus effects of the vehicle turning on VS spectrum with the simulation. The simulation results are compared with experimental results.
