Abstract(in English) | In recent years, Japanese people sit for an average of 7 hours per day, which is the longest sitting time in the world. It has been pointed out that long sitting time leads to deterioration of blood flow and muscle strength, and as a result, there is a risk of suffering from diseases that cause health problems such as myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer, and dementia. Therefore, there is a need for technology that can estimate a person's behavior and estimate whether the person is in an appropriate posture for that behavior. In the existing studies, various sensors have been attached to desks and chairs to measure the posture of users. However, it is difficult to constantly observe the state of a person who is active over a wide area, because only the behavior of the person using the desk or chair to which the sensor is attached can be observed. Therefore, in this study, we extend the sensing function to clothing worn by people, and propose and develop a system to estimate postures that have a negative impact on people's health condition by continuously collecting and analyzing sensor data without causing stress to users and without being restricted by their location. |
