Development and Evaluation of Blockchain-based Work Execution Status Management and Verification System

Abstract(in English) In Japan, due to the revision of the model employment regulations, the companies that allows side jobs are increasing. However, many problems have arisen in the current situation, in which the non-presentation of details of the contract and delinquent or unpaid remuneration. In addition, it is difficult to check the progress of workers' tasks correctly. To solve these problems, a system is needed in which the details of the case and the progress of the work can be checked not only by the client and the worker but also by a third party so that the correctness of the details can be judged objectively. Meanwhile, research and development of a blockchain-based data management infrastructure that can share data among participants while guaranteeing data integrity is attracting attention. In this research, we proposed to utilize the blockchain technology to research and develop a work execution status management system that enables all participants to mutually understand and verify the contents of contracts related with the cases and the progress of the work by workers. In this system, when a client makes a request for the case, the details of the contract are registered in the blockchain so that a third party can verify the correctness of the contract. In addition, the system is equipped with a function that registers the operation log data of PCs used by workers on the blockchain and analyzes the data to estimate their work status, thereby enabling a third party to verify the progress of the case.
