Abstract(in English) | In the design of automotive products and electronic devices, a large number of design variables must be determined to satisfy a wide variety of design requirements simultaneously. The brush motors in this study use electromagnetic interference (EMI) filters to suppress brush noise from 0.1 to 30 MHz. When the cable length ranges between the power supply and the motor as long as 1 to 2 m, resonance occurs between the parasitic inductance of the cable and the capacitance of the installed filter. It requires the simultaneous suppression of the brush noise and resonance. In addition, redundant design is necessary because the influence of resonance is significant due to the different cable lengths of different products and the limited space available for installing elements. In this study, the brush motor was identified as an equivalent high-frequency circuit. A filter design was conducted with differential-mode (DM) and common-mode (CM) noise attenuation as design requirements. The Preference Set- based Design (PSD) method, one of the multi-objective satisfactory design methods, was used to obtain a range solution that satisfies the requirements by setting the EMI filter constant and cable length as design parameters. As a result, the EMI filter parameters that meet the required performance were obtained with a tolerance range of at least 9%, which is wider than that of commercially available electronic components. So, sufficiently practical results were obtained by the proposed design method. |
