Abstract(in English) | Currently, large-scale disaster response IoT (DR-IoT) using the 220 MHz band is under development. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of DR-IoT by comparing the propagation loss between DR-IoT in the 220 MHz band and LoRa inthe 920 MHz band. Focusing mainly on the attenuation caused by buildings on campus, we will compare and investigate howmuch the attenuation is affected by the LOS environment and the number of buildings blocking the communication path. Wewill also compare the difference in PER (Packet Error Rate) between the 220 MHz band and the 920 MHz band depending onthe number of buildings. In addition to the demonstration experiment, we will evaluate the LOS environment using propagationmodels such as free space propagation loss and two-wave models in the same environment, and examine whether the measuredvalues in the shielded environment are plausible. |
