Abstract(in English) | Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) is a major communication technology for the Internet of Things (IoT) because of its low power consumption, long-distance communication, and low cost. However, LPWA-enabled sensor networks have various constraints, such as scalability constraints due to networking with unique communication protocols. Therefore, to make general use of LPWA communications, we aim to connect LPWA sensors directly to the Internet. In this paper, we will implement and introduce the TCP/IP function to the Private LoRa device, one of the LPWA. To evaluate the availability of the TCP/IP on Private LoRa, we will evaluate the communication performance using both TCP and UDP flows. |
