| Abstract(in English) | Along with the increase of web push notifications, its abuse is increased. For example, some web push notifications induce users to malware distribution sites and phishing sites. It is hard for users to decide whether the notification is malicious or not because the area for web push notifications is less informative. To protect users from those malicious web push notifications, we propose a method to control web push notifications by browser extensions. The proposed method detects web push notifications and then suppresses the notification and redirection to web sites. This control is based on a keyword list so unwanted notifications and redirection are suppressed. |
