Swarm intelligence algorithm based on spiking neural-oscillator networks, coupling interactions and solving performances

Abstract(in English) Optimizer based on spiking neural-oscillator networks (OSNN) are one of the deterministic swarm intelligencealgorithms, which consist of plural simple spiking oscillators. In OSNN, these spiking oscillators can search a good solution effectively by interacting with each other. Due to such interactions, a spiking oscillator can take a synchronization search or asynchronization search. However, parameter conditions, which determine a synchronization search or asynchronization search, are not clarified. In this paper, we analyze such interactions among spiking oscillators using simple network topology, and clarify the parameter conditions. In addition, we investigate relationship between search performances of OSNN and such synchronization and asynchronization search.
