Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Ultra-reliable and low latency communications (URLLC) is one of the key scenarios for the 5th generation mobile communications system (5G), and the early hybrid automatic repeat request (early HARQ) method has been proposed as a technique to improve the performance of URLLC. However, in previous studies, the modulation order and coding rate were set small, and it is expected that the throughput performance of URLLC would be improved, especially in high SNR regions. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new early HARQ method with adaptive modulation and coding (AMC), a technique to improve throughput, and show that it improves transmission performance by 18 times in the high SNR region through numerical simulations.
